If you are like most Outlook users running Windows, you manage a collection of mailbox folders to organize messages. Over time, your collection can become quite extensive. By adding a keyboard shortcut to your repertoire, you can file messages more rapidly.
Move selected messages to folders
Use Outlook's Move to Folder command to move a set of selected messages to another folder in your mailbox.
- Select one or more messages.
- Press CTRL + Shift + V.
- In the dialog box, press the arrow keys to select a destination folder.
- Press Enter.
Note: Press the left and right arrows to expand and collapse folder trees, and up and down arrows to select folders. Or, select a folder in the mailbox by typing its name. If you use the keyboard to browse your list of folders, you will be able to manage a large folder collection fast.
