Impressions on Belkin's Travel Surge Protector

Airports never have enough places where one can plug in to charge laptops and other devices. Power outlets are often few and far between. And, usually, there are crowds of people hovering over every last one of them. The next time you travel, consider bringing a portable power strip.

I bring a Belkin Travel Surge Protector with me whenever I go on the road. It's portable, durable, and "multiplies" a single wall outlet by three. It also adds 2 USB ports, which is nice. I find that people are always willing to let me unplug their laptops and plug them into my Belkin if there are no other available charging receptacles nearby.

I have the BZ103050-TVL, however I recommend the newer generation model, BST300, which has dual 2.1 AMP / 10 Watt USB ports. This power strip is great and makes cable management a bit easier in hotels, too.
